Тема: «Seasons» («Времена года»)
(УМК 3 класс: Верещагина И.Н., Притыкина Т.А.)
Цель:
– создать условия для развития познавательных интересов учащихся по английскому языку, для развития языковых, интеллектуальных и творческих способностей учащихся.
Задачи:
1. Практическая: практиковать учащихся в использовании изученной лексики по теме. Практиковать учащихся в чтении и понимании содержания прочитанного. Формировать навыки устной речи по теме.
2. Развивающая: развитие умения логически мыслить, описывать, развивать воображение, развивать умение воспринимать иностранную речь на слух.
3. Образовательная: приобретение знаний о стране изучаемого языка.
4. Воспитательная: воспитание любви к природе, бережного отношения к окружающему нас миру растений и животных.
Место проведения: учебный класс.
Оборудование: магнитофон, аудиозапись, картинки по теме, карточки со словами для построения предложений, схема предложения.
I. Организационный момент и приветствие:
– Good morning, children! I’m glad to see you.
(Good morning, teacher!)
II. Объявление цели урока:
Let’s begin our lesson. Today we shall speak about seasons. They are different. We’ll play, that’s why we have got 2 groups. You’ll have some tasks and for each task a prize. And we shall see who can speak English better at lesson.
III. Речевая разминка:
Task one № 1.
– Look at the blackboard. You can see pictures there about seasons. You should guess the season, listening to the tape – recorder and then write this word, using the crossword.
IV. Ход урока:
1. It is a very cold and frostyseason (на доске).
January is the strongest month.
Children play snowballs, make snowmen and snowwomen. It often snows. The Fields are white. People celebrate New Year, Christmas in this season.
2. It is a dull season (на доске).
This season is the season when fruits are sweet, and when school – friends meet. The leaves in the trees are yellow, red and brown. The weather is rainy. People grow vegetables and fruits.
3. It is a lot of fun in this season. It is a hot season in a year. The season is bright. The grass is green, the sky is blue. July is the best month in this season. People do a lot of things: walk, swim in the river, have a rest (на доске). August is the last month of this season in Russia.
4. This season comes before summer.
It’s often rainy and snowy. The weather is warm. Birds come home. The sun is yellow and bright. In April people celebrate Easter and April Fool’s day. Everything is in blossoms (на доске).

– And, please recite the poem «The seasons».
